Met Monday

Hi there and welcome again to Met Monday hosted by Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. I have a rather simple one today. This is a preview of my client Denise's home is Colorado which she and I have been working on. I traveled to her home in February and we had a whirlwind 4 days decorating finding accessories, picking paint colors etc. She had a vignette area in here entry way going up the staircase. She had a french print up there and some silk ivy plants. This picture unfortunately does not do the spot any justice. You can see the print in the far corner of the picture. After warming up the walls with paint color Whole Wheat and great finds at Real Deals in Longmont, we transformed the vignette.
Denise loves clocks and we found this awesome clock the filled the space well and went with the decor in her living room, adjacent to this entryway.
We added a vase with some tall mixed greens and curly willows and a sign that says Celebrate family, friends, tradition. We also added and iron plant stand with one ivy plant. Denise will be showing the complete transformation when we are finished with some items that are being worked on now!.
Thanks again for visiting and be sure to stop by Between Naps on the Porch for other great transformations.

  1. Nice vignette :-) I love clocks, so that's the one element that really catches my eye. It's just the right piece for that spot :-)

  9. Hello Sofia...

Ohhh my, I'm still trying to get around to all of the Met Monday posts! hehe!!! Thank you so much for coming by my place and taking a peek at my olive green wall color transformation and for your kind comments!!!

This is just lovely! Your friend has a beautiful home and I just love that niche above the front door...what a grand architectural detail! The vignette is fabulous and really showcases that niche...it's perfect!!! Job well done, my friend!!!

I was so surprised in reading your post and that your friend is in Longmont! I lived a couple of years there as a child! I'm now in the northeast corner of Colorado! I just found it interesting...I haven't run into many bloggers from my area...let alone from a town where I once lived!

    Warmest wishes,
    Chari

  10. Hi Sofia!

Thanks for showcasing the stairway niche! I so appreciated all your help with the house and will be anxious to get the draperies up so we can do a good before and after profile!

How fun that Chari above lived in Longmont!

I look forward to catching up on your blog and reading on!

    Love,
    Denise :-)
