House on Peppertree lane

I friend of mine is trying to decide on the color of her home. She love the tan and white with black shutters so I took a picture of a house she admired when she lived in the area.


It is a darling home with many rhod iron pieces in front. Notice the black urns with green juniper bush.
What do you think. Do you like the tan with white and black trim? It is a classic look for all style homes.
Denise also loves the french style for her home. I found this lovely item at the Decor Store in Livermore, CA . It is nice a chunky possibly for her stairway wall. What you do think? Do you love it.

    Oh thank you Sofia!!! Yes, that is the house, and it is just as prestine and neat as I remember! The tan is lighter than I recal, so maybe I don't need to go as dark as I thought. On our house the sample Lenox Tan and Hunington Beige looked too light, but perhaps not! LOVE a black door too...ours is still in good condition, so I will leave it the natural wood color until it needs to be redone...then it is black for sure! :-) Thanks for taking the time to do this for me Sofia! Keep you eyes open for a wrought iron decorative window thingy...Thanks so much for sharing the photos!!! I really do like the simple and elegant look of this house! :-)

    Sofia,
    Wanted to drop by and say hi. I really like the tan and black combination it looks classic and clean. Before making a final decision I would have to take into consideration what the existing roof and brick colors are. I have a black front door and I also painted the sidelight frames black which gave it the appearance of more depth. I have a picture of it on my blog. I am also getting ready to have our house painted soon so I am also pondering colors. I want to introduce a sage green into the mix. I love the fleur de lis, I have one in my entry hall. I hope you post after it is painted it would be nice to see before and after. Hope you are enjoying the warm CA weather, it is just starting to warm up where I am. Cathy
